I bet I will get many dislikes for this but I don't like Rika nor Sotsu. One the other is stuck up lying bitchy bitch spoiled brat who forgets about everything and drops her old friends who were there for her once she becomes "friends" with "better, richer gang" and other one is psycho so they deserve EVERYTHING what comes their way. Why? First one should really be punished because she does not change reality to save friends but because of her selfnishness. The other one should learn to let go of things and trashy bitchy people who only care about themselves and tat everyone piss themselves because she smiled at them. NEITHER of them think even for a split of seconds that through what they want they derstroying their friend's lifes who got sucked into endless circle as well. Why do I think that? Because others have flashbacks from other versions of reality so they DO remember (Keichi was shown to suffer when he though he killed everyone).

When you really think about it you have a point, at first Rika was really looping through reality to save her friends, but in doing that for so long when she finally found an end to her suffering and a happy conclusion, she wanted to leave her "prison", Hinamizawa, so that she could live a life that she wanted. Satako, knowing little to nothing at the time what Rika had gone through, saw that it was an act of selfishness. I do agree that it was selfish of Rika to push Satako to study with her and to go to a fancy boarding school that only she wanted to go to, knowing that Satako wouldn't be able to keep up, and on top of that breaking a promise that she would be by Satako's side forever no matter what. On the other hand, in a way, both Rika and Satako are selfish, because after Satako knew what Rika went through for a century, Satako still insisted on making Rika suffer more by making her stay in Hinamizawa with her and retaining the memories of each death but not knowing how, so Satako could make sure she stays with her for the rest of her life.

The rena and rika brats are so obnoxious and cringe. So I think satako accelerated rena paranoia / hinamizawa syndrome by injection? the idiot rena being a baby over "kenta-kun" colonel sanders statue is so dumb! But anyone who saw original When They Cry knows what Jirou and Keiichi talked about! 🤩

But the almost yuri kiss of satako-rika in the new opening is a bit hot too. P.s. How does infecting her help? I assume by doing it shes going to go on a rampage and kill everyone again like what Keiichi was remembering from the other timeline when she cut off his arm and killed him.

When did that happen

In the original Anime Back in 2006 we see what i described above and more that's why everyone should watch the older/original 1st Before these 2, because the 2 newer seasons that are updated are a continuation of the original Anime but in the other girls perspectives (i believe) which answers a lot of question from the original like why is all of this happening and stuff whithout spoiling anything. Id highly recommend watching the original 1st before these 2 seasons. Its definetly worth it and its gory from what I remember.
